A Man for Honor (The Amish Matchmaker #6) by Emma Miller

Second-Chance Match

With four children and a dilapidated farmhouse, Amish widow Honor King asks Seven Poplars’s matchmaker to find her a secure and reliable new husband. Someone the opposite of her first love—who left her at the altar nine years ago, yet whom she’s never been able to forget. Luke’s back in town, and also looking for a new partner. For him, there’s only one candidate to be his wife—the woman he let get away. But when Honor won’t let him into her life, he works his way into her house. Hammer in hand, he’ll fix her home…but it’ll take more than brawn and nails to mend her heart.

My Review

I loved this story and it made me smile, especially when the book opens and the boys fly out of the barn and into a mud puddle, oh boy does Honor have her hands full!
The author has a young man Luke returning to his roots and the woman he literally left at the altar, and now he wants to rekindle his relationship, with the help of the Matchmaker, with Honor. We get to watch as he works his way back into her life, a little bit at a time.
We find that forgiveness isn’t always easy, and old hurts don’t always go away easily, but everyday life goes on, and with four children in the picture things sure do get interesting.
If you want a sweet, few chuckles, quick page-turning read, don’t miss this one!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Harlequin, and was not required to give a positive review.
